ok,so i went to the shop today to work on the tail section,when i welded the double wall section on,i didnt make a fixture to hold the whole thing in line,so i dis-obeyed my own rules. so i get to the point on some things where if it doesnt go right,i get burned out and want to just throw it away. but i have to force myself to persevere. so sometimes a fixture is as easy as screwing a couple chunks of wood to the work table with a straight line scribed. so i cut the welds,got it re-tacked straight,and then started on laying out the let-in for the seat area.i didnt plan on having to cut through the inner layer of the cone to get the seat to sit in there far enough...but you cant think of everything all at once so thats what i did,cuz i have plenty of clearance for the tire.if the pics are kind of blurry its cuz i had to hold stuff together with one hand and take the shot.plus i have really shaky hands to begin with. when i get this thing done,im gonna have probably an equal amount of time mounting it and tying the seat pan into it....which kinda sucks...
